What are Cannabinoids?
The word Cannabinoid refers to every chemical substance, regardless of structure or origin, that joins the Cannabinoid receptors of the body and brain and that have similar effects to those produced by the Cannabis Sativa plant.
Will these products containing Cannabinoids get me high?
No. CBD can be extracted from a cannabis plant, but it doesn't have the same ability to create a “high” or state of euphoria as marijuana or THC. CBD may help you feel relaxed or less anxious, but you won't get high if you choose to use a CBD-infused oil, tincture, edible, or other product.
How much CBD or CBN should I take?
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to give recommendations on a specific amount to take at a certain given time. If you have any questions on the dosage amount that is perfect for you, we recommend contacting your doctor to give you a more accurate dosage tailored to you.
Will taking these products make me fail a drug test?
While the typical drug test does not specifically test for non-psychoactive supplements, we do suggest speaking with the branch within your business that deals with these tests to ensure that you will not fail a drug test.
Is CBD legal?
CBD oil is produced from the Sativa L. hemp plant and is legal to sell, procure and consume in the United States. This is based on the US Farm Bill, signed into law in December of 2018. All of our products are fully tested to ensure that they do not contain more than 0.3% THC.
Is CBD safe to consume?
At Calmm, we strive to provide customers with some of the highest quality CBD on the market. This involves testing once before bottling, and then we ship the bottle to receive a second round of testing at one of the top labs in the nation to ensure purity. These products are tested for any heavy metals, pesticides, and other harmful chemicals that can make their way into the product during the process. If one batch contains these chemicals that are deemed harmful, we completely scratch that batch and move on to the next.
